Known for her creativity, commitment and ability to appreciate strategic and tactical perspectives, Mary’s expertise is sought by business leaders throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Following her corporate career at Logitech, Macrovision (now Rovi), Excite@Home, DirecTV and Hughes Electronics, Mary founded Meritus based upon her belief that Finance plays a central role in helping business executives and stakeholders make key decisions. The recent success of Guidewire’s (NYSE: GWRE) initial public offering - a client that Meritus has nurtured since its startup stage - is an example of the importance of the Meritus-Client service partnership. “When working with young companies, we are as excited about our clients’ success as they are. Our goal is to help them build their reputation through solid financial data and analysis.”

Mary, who holds Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and International Relations from the University of Southern California, is an enthusiastic Financing Planning and Analysis (FP&A) evangelist determined to push FP&A past number crunching into playing a strong leadership role in helping companies attain their vision through strategic financial guidance and support. She is available for speaking and panel opportunities. When she finds spare time, Mary enjoys yoga, traveling and practicing her Cha-Cha-Cha for showcases and dance competitions.

Alex Kerr

With 20 years of delivering sound financial advice and guidance, Alex is a proven financial leader. Alex has consulted for several world class companies, including Ariat International, Visa, Tibco Software, and Kaiser Permanente. Prior to his work as a consultant, Alex was a Director of Finance at Lucent Technologies and an FP&A Manager at Sun Microsystems, and his expertise has been sought after by companies in the areas of Software, Telecommunications, and Healthcare. His core competencies span the Financial Planning and Analysis spectrum and include cost accounting, financial metrics and modeling, internal auditing and competitive analysis. Alex holds a B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and an MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco.

Nath Mahalingam

A former senior management executive - Senior Vice President and CFO for Textron, and Senior FP&A Leader for GE- Nath brings to our clients a wealth of finance and strategy experience. Nath's core competencies include strategic planning and budgeting, financial forecasting and analysis, portfolio acquisitions and restructuring, and venture capital and private equity investments management. Nath holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Bombay University and an MBA from the University of Rochester, New York.
